"Cancer survivors are not passive recipients of care. They are active participants in their own survivorship journey, reclaiming their lives and shaping their futures." - Dr. Patricia Ganz
Our Mission in Action:
Peer Mentorship & Survivorship Support:
At Living After Crisis, we offer peer mentorship and professional coaching tailored to the unique journey of survivorship. Our peer mentors and professional coaches, including LAC founder Vanessa Joy Walker, partner with women one-on-one in a series of six sessions (50 min. each).
During these sessions, our mentors and coaches evaluate each woman's immediate needs and goals, providing personalized support to help them navigate the challenges of survivorship. Together, we assist women in building a toolbox of skills and strategies to survive and thrive!
